Interests

As well as all my interests and loves in life, here you'll be able to look at images of myself, family, friends and other assorted goodies. How else better to start that with a list? This page will grow and develop to become much more refined I am sure; until then, enjoy the list! I will add links and more information pages later on.

God - Obviously He is at the very top. He is my life, my all consuming desire. I am far from perfect, but I love Him and wish to be more like He wants me to be each day. He rocks & is my very best friend! More later.

Ken - Second to God, Ken is what and who I live for. I live for Ken. I love Ken totally. There is no rational reason for this other than we both married under the premise that God would bind us together in love, for all our lives. We are like one spirit in a sense, although two very different people in our souls. One thing marriage teaches you very quickly is that true love is learnt and is a hard, on-going process, and has absolutely nothing to do with how you feel at any given moment in time!

Myself - At this time I've elected to list a couple of images of myself so that you can all stop wondering what it is that I look like. So, have fun!

Friends, kin etc. - A big up to all those out there who dare to call me their bud, pal, girlfriend, comrade, friend or whatever else :P The first on this list would have to be Kelly, who is and forever will be, my closest mate and long term friend. She is under my protection and may God help the man, woman or firm who tries to mess with her :P I have an aide in my cause luckily; a 6"5' guy named Allan who is pretty handy for making sure she remains safe and sound :)

Urban Dead - Check out www.urbandead.com . It's a massively low tech, browser-based game where you play a survivor or a zombie, can have many characters and interact with hundreds of thousands of other players globally. You never see any actual zombies though as this is low tech and has no pictures, it's like one of those great old games based on a grid map where you move from room to room and discover new things and people. Henceforth, it's not a 'dodgy game' for those who might not want to play a game with zombies in it. The zombies aren't really the point, the point is to develop your characters, meet new people and to have fun trying to 'win' at the game.

Swords - I like swords, battle and weapon art of all sorts; but most especially swords. A few following images may help to show you the few that I currently own.

Transformer models, toys, characters and fan fiction etc. - A large, sprawling area of interest. I've hosted meetings and conventions, collected the models, drawn and written fiction and debated issues down to the very bone. See the Fiction area of this web site, more later here.

Tea - I absolutely adore tea. I believe it is the single reason why I've never had a filling, aged 24 and still going strong, very strong. Brought up on milk and then raised to drink milky tea; I now drink all kinds of teas and especially enjoy green tea with sushi. Oh; and as a side note, I despise coffee and hate even the smell.

Sushi - Great stuff. Too expensive in the UK though, for the most part. If you ever fancy giving me a treat, make sushi! I got the gear and made it twice; Ken loved it.

Street Fighter - The whole legacy (although some parts I do not especially care for). I especially have an affectionate spot for Ryu & Ken, Shadaloo Cammy and the entire Shadaloo posse; including their Master, M.Bison. I dislike Balrog and find Sagat ugly, despite this.

MUSHing - It means Multi User Shared Hallucination. Online role playing environment with other players, where you control one or more characters and interact live, over the internet, with others in any number. I MUSH only on Transformer MUSHes and one or two personal ones, also.

Football - I support Manchester United and Bristol City (local team). Of course I also support England !!! I love playing football (though I haven't for ages), although strangely enough I loath football computer and video games. I used to play for Bristol City Girls/Ladies team ages ago, and loved it. I played defence, Goal Keeper some times or the rush-back goalkeeper in my school days.

Writing - I love writing. More later! (Hah! That's a paradox, right there) Check my blog out, though...

Nintendo - My favourite maker of games consoles and games as well, pretty much. Their web site is currently www.nintendo.com

Counter-Strike - The best game on the PC? Quite possibly. You can pick it up so easily at any time at all. A modification (or MOD for short) of the best-selling PC CD ROM title, Half Life.

Paint Ball - Amazing, expensive, messy, hurts a lot the next three days after you do it. More later.

Music - I like pretty much anything with a good beat that isn't sung by a bunch of children or old people with no sense of timing, tune or melody. I hate most parody or so-called 'comedy' songs, with a few notable exceptions (Weird Al is ok). I dislike music which rants or moans, feeding the depressive youth culture. I also dislike trippy sounds which attempt to promote drug-taking and getting drunk, having lots of sex and dancing your arse off (read: most Ibiza music). I like Industrial, Trance, Dance, Rock, some Pop, Happy Hardcore, Hardcore and classical/chilled out stuff. My pet hate within the vast world of sound is definitely dark rock and gothic stuff going on about the undead, spooks and satanic stuff, usually going off on anti-God rants all the while. Rob Zombie is a great example; such a terrible waste of musical talent. I used to love his tunes before I realised what I was doing.

Films - I'll add my faves later here, as well.

Faith Camp - I love going to Faith Camp. It has changed my life. More later.

Media - Filming, radio, journalism and more.

Gor - My Gor thoughts, musings and rantings
'Gor is not just, Gor is not fair. Gor is Gor.' Well, there is a lot more to it than that. A fictional alter-earth where Men are dominant and slaves & Masters dwell. No subs, no non-Gor, no brats ... just the Gorean way. 'Be Gorean, or be gone'.

BDSM, D/s, M&s etc. - Bondage, domination, slave and master, domination and submission, there are many variants on what BDSM (or its sister D/s) actually is and what it stands for. Really it doesn't matter. Many expressions of this are sinful in my opinion (which I explain in my BDSM rant in the Rants section) and I would not encourage them. However, between a loving and caring Husband and Wife who are monogamous (i.e. no pre marital sex, no extra marital sex or improper, public behaviour), domination and submission can be a beautiful way to experience love in your marriage. The Bible makes it clear that the man is to be the head of the household. Do NOT knee jerk as I once did, wait for more information, because I believe that Christian D/s can be perfectly Godly. Read the Rants section to learn more.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force - Don't laugh. I thought it was to be mocked, until I sat down and watched it. I laughed very hard indeed. So careless, so brash, so ... totally immature and yet amusing, not annoying!
